Even within comparatively simple systems, a single video feed will often need to be supplied to a number of different functions. IQ Modular offers a comprehensive series of analog and digital video distribution amplifiers, offering a range of functions and up to 15 outputs from a single input signal.

Digital versions can now operate at 3Gbit/s rates for 1080p applications as well as 1.5 Gbit/s HDSDI, MPEG-ASI or 4:2:2 component. They can be specified with a re‑clocking capability to minimize jitter in the ongoing picture.  They also feature input equalization to allow the use of long cable runs.

Versions with analog operation are also available, featuring 35MHz operation to ensure high quality outputs suitable for broadcast purposes ‑ including HDTV reference distribution ‑ with RollCall control as an option.

Audio Distribution
Separate audio signals, whether analog or digital, form a significant element of most facilities' systems.  The IQ Modular range provides a choice of audio distribution amplifiers suitable for use with either the AES/EBU digital format or with analog signals. 

All modules are user selectable for single or dual channel operation, with transformer-coupled balanced or single-ended unbalanced input and output options available. All versions provide automatic sensing of the input signal's sampling rate, and very low distortion and noise.
