How Do We Shift Broadcast Infrastructure from SDI to IP?, TVB Europe

One of the most profound and far-reaching releases during NAB did not actually occur in Las Vegas, rather thounsands of miles away in Geneva.  The European Broadcasting Union, along with SMPTE and the Video Services Forum (VSF) announced they have formed a Joint Task Force on Networked Media (JT-NM) to stimulate new business opportunities through the exchange of professional media across networks, exploiting afforable IT-based technology.
