Snell Kahuna Boosts KYTX HD Launch - TV Technology

KYTX serves a large area of East Texas including Tyler, Jacksonville, Longview, Lufkin, and Nacogdoches. In April, we became the first station in this market to go to air with a locally originated highdefinition broadcast. This was the result of a carefully timed strategy that not only took the best advantage of the ratings period, but also provided that all-important element of surprise for the competition and our viewing audience.

Snell Enters Newsroom Automation Market - Broadcasting & Cable

Snell, the new broadcast equipment conglomerate formed by the merger of Snell and Pro-Bell last month, announced here at the 2009 NAB Show Sunday that it has created an automation solution for news production that will compete with existing systems from Grass Valley and Ross Video, as well as a new entry from Sony.
