Broadcasters throughout the Indian market are looking to transition to HD smoothly and seamlessly, and some facilities will soon be launching all new digital channels. Snell’s standards and format conversion solutions help these facilities successfully make this transition...and without sacrificing video quality. At BES India, two of Snell’s conversion products will be showcased – Quasar Ph.C, the world’s first motion compensated HDTV upconverter, and Kudos + HD TBS800, our 3Gb/s, HD, and SD formatconverter with TBS/synchronization capabilities.
As India launches new channels, channel owners are seeking reliable automated playout solutions that allow their facilities to bring new HD channels to air more quickly, and at significantly lower cost. Snell’s ICE Channel-in-a-Box automated playout system powered by Morpheus automation will also be available for demonstration during BES.
Finally, our MV-Series multiviewer will be on display during BES. Designed for a range of applications including control rooms, studios, and OB trucks, the MV-Series offers our customers with highly versatile and configurable viewing capabilities.
Remember too, that Snell’s impressive product lineup extends well beyond just those solutions we’ll have at BES. We offer routing switchers, including Vega, our award-wining new flexible port, fiber, and coax router, as well as real-time content restoration products such as Archangel Ph.C – HD. Last but certainly not least, our Kahuna 360 production switcher is ideal for live production environments. The switcher breaks away from the tradition of fixed M/Es, fixed resources, and fixed formats while supporting many simultaneous productions – any combination of SD, HD, and 1080p content – in a single mainframe.
